Meet Us

Dr Gail Dolan MD FAAP

Hello!  I am Dr. Gail Dolan.
I live in Bristow with my husband, Kevin, and our three children, Jack, Karrick, and Emma.  My father is a retired Air Force officer, and I was born in South Carolina while we were stationed in Sumter.  I lived in Germany, Nebraska, and Hawaii before my father was stationed in Northern Virginia.  I went to elementary and middle school in Prince William County.  I went to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.  After graduation, I attended the University of Virginia for my undergraduate degree, and stayed in Charlottesville to attend the UVA School of Medicine.  I completed my pediatric residency in Savannah, Georgia.  After residency, I accepted a position in Culpeper, Virginia, where I practiced for 9 years.  During that time, my family moved back to Bristow to be near our family in Nokesville and Manassas.  I wanted to be with my family more, so I left my position in Culpeper, and opened Bristow Pediatrics in the fall of 2012.  I am Board Certified and am an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  I enjoy working with children and their families to maintain health.  I have particular interests in breastfeeding, holistic medicine, special needs care, mental health and obesity.

Christiana Budu CF NP

My name is Christiana Budu, and I am a Nurse Practitioner. I was born in Nigeria, grew up in Georgia, and moved to Northern Virginia in 2004. I graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing in 2008. Since I was an adolescent, I knew that my career path would involve working with children. Thus, I was excited to start my nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at INOVA Children’s Hospital. Although I found my job in the ICU very rewarding, I had a strong desire to work in preventative medicine. I returned to George Mason and completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration in 2015. I have been working in pediatric primary care for the past eight years. I joined Bristow Pediatrics in January of 2023. In addition to preventive care and health maintenance, I have a strong interest in asthma management. My hobbies include reading, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and attending my son’s sporting events.

I graduated from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018.  I have experience working in the pediatric emergency department and the general pediatric floor, but it was my time in the outpatient pediatric clinic where I fell in love with primary care pediatrics.  I returned to school to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  I obtained my Masters of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2021 with a focus on pediatric primary care.  I enjoy providing care to children, their families, and working together to create a healthy family unit.  I have special interests in mental and behavioral health, breastfeeding, and adolescent wellness.  My hobbies include hiking, attending sporting events, spending time with family, golfing, photography, and gardening.
